Our CAD Portfolio
One example of our work is our close partnership with Concept X LTD, for whom we have developed several parts. The first component that was produced over the course of our collaboration was a turbo manifold for Mazda’s popular MX-5 Miata sports roadster.
Concept X LTD was so impressed with the design of that turbo manifold that they decided to work with us on their next project. This consisted of a universal catch can that can be mounted on many vehicles, also known as a positive crankcase ventilation system.
We also have a range of parts that haven’t been developed under partnership, and customers will be able to purchase 3D models to work with, and we even plan on releasing open-source schematics. This will allow users to tune the model to the specifications they require, perhaps learning more about automotive design in the process.
The first such open-source project will be an ITB, or individual throttle body, and we will release a set of DIY models and design schematics so that others can work with them. Users can either further expand upon the designs or reverse-engineer them so that they can suit their own needs.
Our open-source schematics are a way of giving back to the automotive community, as mutual support has always been one of the most important parts of car modification and performance enhancements.
While our open-source projects are still in development, we can’t wait to show our users what the future has in store.
